New
- Is it filtered? Test now resolves each of a server's names and fails the row when Iran's filter answers for them (10.10.34.x).
- Where it is: each address is placed, as a town and network in Iran or a country abroad.
- IPv4 and IPv6: whether each connects; if this computer has no IPv6, it says so instead of blaming the server.
- Speed: how long the name, the connection, TLS and the answer take from here.
- Certificates: each one's issuer, TLS version and days left, warning under 14 days or when TLS 1.0/1.1 still work; and whether HSTS is sent.
- Sign-ups: closed, token only, open with email or a captcha, through an OAuth 2.0 login page, or open to anyone (a warning: spam bots can sign up). It asks with an empty request, which never makes an account.
- Public rooms, features and software: how many rooms its directory lists; spaces, threads and authenticated media; and a warning when its software is older than what your playbook installs now.
- Support contacts: each contact the owner lists in
/.well-known/matrix/support, by role, with their Matrix ID and email, and the support page. - ctrl+o copies the results to paste into a support chat, and saves them to
test-results.txtin the config folder. ctrl+r tests again every 30 seconds while you fix something.
